Are the training machines connected to a server?

The training machines are networked and share a high speed internet connection. However, they are set up to be used as standalone workstations; there is no server.

 

Software

What software is already loaded on the training machines?

The machines are loaded with Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Can we load our own software on the training machines?

We frequently have bookings from specialist software companies and have no objection to you loading your own required software on our training machines for the duration of the training.

Do you make a charge for providing coffee and biscuits to delegates?

Tea and coffee are provided free to delegates on arrival and during breaks.

If we do not provide lunch for our delegates, are there places where they can buy their own lunch?

There is an excellent bar/restaurant next to our training centre, The Woodstore, which is where we take our own delegates. Sandwiches and snacks are available from a couple of shops within easy walking distance.
